My name is Henry J. Braverman and I am the proud owner of Waterville Supply.
I wasn't always a business owner, but I have spent the last 6 years of my 47 years in the building materials industry doing what I love best.
As one might imagine, after 47 years in the business, I have experienced many different facets of our industry.
From sourcing products harvested locally and internationally, to selling products across the full spectrum of customers ranging from retail, wholesale, as well as to some of the largest National Accounts in the U.S. I was also fortunate enough to manage several distribution centers for a Fortune 100 building materials company before taking on the role of V.P. of Operations at a grand and glorious 90 year old Massachusetts based wholesale company.
Hardwood flooring is different from many of the floor coverings on today's market.
While it's true that it's a bit more expensive initially, the life-span alone makes it well worth it.
There is a unique benefit to the homeowner in having a floor installed that they won't have to replace in a couple of decades.
In fact, some wood floors are known to last a century or more.
It's also true that there is some maintenance necessary for the best results.
Again, it's absolutely worth it.
Of course, not every lifestyle is well suited for wood floors, but those that are will quickly see the benefit of making the switch.
There are plenty of reasons to consider engineered wood flooring if you're in the market for a new floor covering.
These materials are just as classic, timeless, and stunning as their solid wood counterparts but offer some unique benefits for materials from the wood flooring category.
You're likely to have a space in your home that is the perfect placement for these floor coverings, so let's find out what you might be missing.
These floors begin with various wood plies that are glued together, with a real wood veneer glued on top.
Choosing hardwood flooring means you'll likely never have to shop for flooring again, for as long as you own your home.
With a lifespan that can reach and exceed more than 100 years with proper care and maintenance, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy all the benefits that come with the material.
You can even personalize your options for a floor covering that is truly your own.
Here, we'll discuss some of the most frequently asked questions.
Solid wood is, as you might expect, one solid piece of wood from top to bottom.
Laminate flooring is a product that often gets overlooked amidst the wide array of floor coverings available on today's market.
However, it's just as feasible a product as most others are and worthy of marketed as such.
This particular floor covering is constantly evolving, thanks to continued new innovation.
For instance, we now have an all-plastic laminate that is available and incredibly resistant to water.
This is not only a huge benefit but a great selling point as well.
Waterville Supply LLC carries this floor covering and many others.
