DC Hardwood Flooring is a Colorado based company serving Northern Colorado areas ( since 1994 ) such as Boulder, Estes Park, Longmont, Loveland, Fort Collins, and Southern Wyoming areas around Cheyenne and Laramie. We have also traveled to other states, but the customer has paid for travel and lodging expenses in these cases. We started doing flooring in Boulder, Colorado in 1989 and have expanded to the areas mentioned above.
Doing all aspects of installation, sanding and finishing of hardwood flooring and tile, and also custom stains, stairs, inlays, borders and some light carpentry work. We will remove base, carpet, cut doors and add trim. We learned from the best hardwood flooring teacher in Colorado and kept those high quality standards when we established our business.

When bamboo was first marketed for flooring, it had many problems due to the fact that it was not milled correctly, shipped correctly or packaged correctly.
It was also more expensive than other types of wood because it had to be imported.
Over the last few years, huge improvements have been made in bamboo flooring.
All of its previous drawbacks have been resolved and it has come down in price.
We only offer the solid bamboo flooring that is just as thick, dense, solid and durable as any other type of hardwood flooring.

We do not move furniture, please have all furniture and items removed from work area (do not forget about the closets).
We do not sand around furniture or heavy items (pianos, fish tanks etc.,).
If you elect not to remove item(s) from the work area, please let us know a.s.a.p.
DC reserves the right not to do the work or will not be held responsible in any way for damage to items or the look of the hardwood floor in installation or finishing.
Exception to this would be the refrigerator Please note: the refrigerator does not exchange air, it is a sealed box, but if you are concerned about the food inside the refrigerator / freezer it is recommended to remove the food.

4. After initial 7-day waiting period, floor should be cleaned with water and a damp mop only.
Occasionally a solution of vinegar and water may be used for dirtier floors.
5. NEVER USE Murphy's oil, detergents, Endust, Swiffers or anything other than what is mentioned above on the floor.

WARNING: We have seen the overspray from funiture cleaners and polishes leave an outline on the floor around the furniture it was used on.
This overspray can penetrate some floor finishes and soak into the wood causing any new finishes to not adhere to that area even when sanded.

We frequently travel as far south as Colorado Springs without charging extra for travel expenses.
Any further than that and it depends on the job and we will let you know on a per job basis if we feel we have to stay overnight to reduce travel time and cost.
