Services
Adequate acclimation of a floor-The flooring material MUST be installed at environmental conditions that mirror your normal living conditions, especially the temperature.
Acclimating in your garage is a major mistake.
Quality milling- The accuracy of milling on a hardwood floor is essential to avoid seasonal gaps and loose boards over time.
Discount flooring often has poor milling qualities.
Nailing pattern- Overnailing of a floor is almost as bad as undernailing despite conventional thinking.
The overnailing will split the flooring material.
Solid (unfinished & prefinished) nail-down only - use for above ground, or sub-floors; requires correct expansion allowances between vertical walls.
Longstrip (pre-finished) float, nail-down, glue down - used for all grade levels on wood sub-floors and/or concrete slabs.
Engineered (pre-finished & unfinished) float, nail-down, glue down - use for any grade level on wood sub-floors and/or concrete slabs.
Solid wood is milled from a single 3/4 thick piece of hardwood.
Because of its thickness, a solid hardwood floor can be sanded and refinished over several generations of use.
THANK YOU so much, my husband and I are so pleased with how the floor turned out.
We love the inlay design and the wood blends chosen, they tied in with our home perfectly.
It's was a pleasure to have a true craftsman with professional integrity help renovate this old house.
We will call again for future projects.
We had Timeless Hardwood Flooring refinish the hardwood floors in our kitchen and dinning room.
They did a wonderful job and the floors look better than the day they were installed.
Brandon made the whole process as simple as possible and he was very good about working around us and our need to still be able to use our kitchen during the whole process.
