As Scott's reputation grew, he found a niche in a mobile "Showroom on Wheels" -a miniature flooring store in an enclosed trailer brought directly to the customer's home.

In both 1999 and 2000, Scott won regionally in a vinyl installation contest sponsored by the World Floor Covering Association.
He went on to win 2nd place in Las Vegas on the national level in 2000.
As the business grew, Hoover's Flooring opened on Main St. in Wagener in 2000.
