Mamre, (pronounced mam-ruh) refers to the great oak trees of Mamre, near Hebron. These trees are thought to be over 5000 years old and were first mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures as the "Oaks of Mamre". These oaks signify both calm and peacefulness. One might think the name odd for a wood company, but it professes the esteem the company has for its products, employees and customers.
Founded 20 years ago by the Yu family, Mamre Floor continues to provide the same friendly and excellent service that was first laid down by the founder of the company. The family continues to maintain its factory in China, overseeing day-to-day operations. We feel one must never sacrifice price for quality. We know that our customers want beautiful, trouble-free products and our factory continues to provide those products to customers around the globe.
